South Pacific real estate; luxury living in an ecological paradise

A hidden paradise left untouched for many decades, Costa Rica's South Pacific was a remote area that was known to few tourists. Fast forward to the present day and this area has experienced incredible growth. South Pacific real estate, commercial development and tourism numbers are increasing thanks to multimillion dollar infrastructure improvements such as a new highway and new international airport to be opened in 2014.

Thanks to its relative isolation for many years, South Pacific real estate has benefited from a slower paced development which has help accomplish a more sustainable building approach in the area. Escaping the mass construction that some Costa Rican beach towns have experienced, the South Pacific is still an ecological paradise that gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy white sandy beaches, warm ocean waters, abundant nature and amazing landscapes.

Many international visitors have been attracted to the region because of its protection of the natural habitat. With new highways and quick driving times to San Jose, South Pacific real estate has experienced an incredible boom in recent years which has consequently opened up the opportunity for many more people to invest the region.

This increased interest has also helped the development of high quality South Pacific real estate. A number of luxury projects have been created that manage to combine both luxury living with protecting vast amounts of primary forest. Such projects have also incorporated high quality finishes and indoor/outdoor architectural designs that have become synonymous with South Pacific real estate.

Visiting or living in a tropical paradise also doesn't mean that modern comforts have to be sacrificed as the South Pacific offers a range of essential amenities such as banks, pharmacies, hospital, health clinics, excellent schools to fine restaurants and well stocked supermarkets.
