Here in the South Pacific, we have always known that our beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world. So at this point you might be letting yourself drift off into our reality, but quickly think; what good is a world class beach destination; if I cant access essential amenities and make a living? We would have to to agree, what would be the point of living in paradise with nowhere to eat, shop or opportunity to profit?

The South Pacific offers a growing economy with many possibilities to profit

Fortunately enough, the South Pacific has not only world famous beaches, it also has a growing economy that has been enhanced by rising tourism figures, commercial development and million dollar infrastructure improvements. In comparison to North American and Europe, the South Pacific region of Costa Rica has created many opportunities for businesses to flourish.

A number of us that have relocated here, have experienced what it was like to commute long hours, work all day and have hardly any time to spend with our families. Relocating here has given us, along with many other individuals and families the opportunity to live a healthier lifestyle, become part of a thriving community, spend more time with our children and create a more positive financial future.

There are also a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy, with families spending much more time together whilst either snorkeling, surfing, wildlife watching or just relaxing on the beach.
Wealth of amenities and close proximity to the capital

No longer considered a remote destination, arriving to the Costa Rica's South Pacific is now a relaxing and speedy journey of less than three hours from San Jose. The towns of Dominical, Uvita and Ojochal are also home to well stocked supermarkets, banks, private schools, pharmacies and other modern medical facilities, internet cafes, quality restaurants and much more.

Real estate opportunities

Many investors in the South Pacific, including myself have been attracted to the region because of its growth and rating as a top international property investment location. Compared to other developed coastal regions, the South Pacific still offers many real estate deals with ocean view lots and other available properties that are priced to sell. The growing tourism industry has also meant that property investors and entrepreneurs have snapped up vacant lots, with plans to create a number of commercial and residential projects in the region.

The South Pacific is one of the few remaining coastal regions of Costa Rica that will continue to preserve its natural authenticity. Because of its conservation legislation, the surrounding habitat will be enjoyed by many more generations to come. Along with news of an international airport to opened in Palmar Sur in 2015, this area will continue to develop, meaning current prices will not last forever.
