Located in the small beach town of Playa Carrillo, Punta Carrillo is a 37.6-hectare farm. So far, 20.4 hectares are titled, and the rest are under concession. This property is all about the location. Punta Carrillo is located in a small, quiet town that is within walking distance to drug stores, supermarkets, and restaurants and less than five minutes from the beach. Playa Carrillo is a less developed beach, and it’s lined with palm trees. At the beach, you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, jet-skiing, or doing some beach yoga. It’s only 5 km from Samara, where there are a variety of wildlife and exotic plants along the five-kilometer strip of Samara beach.
Located seven miles south of Playa Samara, Playa Camaronal offers numerous recreational activities, including surfing on larger waves. The refuge center is best known for its preservation of sea turtles and travelers and locals can see them here.
Playa Carrillo is also well-known for its fishing exhibitions, and many local fish are found in Bahia Carrillo, including the Pacific crevalle jack and the Yellowtail amberjack.
