It is in the direct line of sight of one of the entrances to the Corcovado National Park (about 6 km across the Golfo Dulce). There is a large swath of the primary forest on top of the main hill. The total area of development within property limits is 6-8 hectares and is amenable for cottage construction as well as individual houses. The main house location is perfect for conversion to a hotel & a restaurant due to its high-perch location on top of the hill overlooking the gorgeous Golfo Dulce.

The property provides a wide array of attractions such as various fruit trees (cashews, almonds, coco, manzana de agua, cacao); the variety of birds is enormous; specifically, there are scarlet macaws and toucans; the bay is full of dolphins, game fish (including sardines & tuna), and plenty of giant sea turtles; it is a popular place with the populations of migrating whales (orcas & humpback whales). Currently, the ride from the San Jose area (Juan Santamaria International airport) takes about 3.5 to 4 hours by car. There are flights available from the Juan Santamaria International airport (via Sansa national airline) to Puerto Jimenez (about 30 km to the southwest). However, the new large international airport in the Palmar Sur area (about 50 km to the north) is being actively researched, and should be available within 3-4 years.
